The Nigeria Psychological Association(NPA) Lagos State chapter is the apex professional regulatory body in Nigeria responsible for the development, promotion and application of psychology in the public interest..

The Association coordinates training, research and delivery of psychosocial services in order to ensure quality control and preservation of human dignity and safety. It provides avenues for Nigerian psychologists in Lagos State to interact and share experiences related to their professional practices and career development programs with respect to challenges and best practices

Oluronke Oginni-Ajayi is a Certified and Licensed Clinical and Abnormal Psychologist. She obtained her first degree in Psychology (Honours) from the prestigious Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Osun State and bagged her masters of Science degree in Clinical and Abnormal Psychology from the University of South Wales, United Kingdom. Furtherance to her academic achievements, she is presently a doctoral candidate in Clinical Psychology at the great Lagos State University, Ojo. She is a full member of the Nigerian Psychological Association (NPA) National and the Vice Chairperson of the Lagos State Chapter of the Association, an active member of the Nigerian Association of Clinical Psychologists (NACP), a local and international member of the International Society of Substance Use Processionals (ISSUP), a local and internationally Certified Employee Assistance Program Professional (CEAP/ EAPAN), an International member of the American Psychological Association (APA), a member of the International Society for Traumatic Stress Studies (ISTSS) and member of the Positive Psychology Association of Nigeria (PoPAN). Her areas of specialty include managing cases of childhood developmental disorders which include the autism spectrum disorders, ADHD, seizure disorder, intellectual disability; cases of psychoactive substance use and other addictive and behavioural problems. In addition, she manages clients with marital challenges, emotional and/ or relationship difficulties and work - life imbalance among other mild to severe mental health challenges across the lifespan. She has been in clinical practice for over twelve years. For relaxation and fun, she enjoys family time, traveling, taking tours and excursions, watching Netflix, listening to music and dancing.
