The spread of covid-19 and the growing spate of insecurity across Nigeria with it’s psychological effects has caught the attention of Psychologist and the scientific community at large, on how to bridge the knowledge gap of managing and coping with the pandemic and issues emanating from insecurity.
Psychology is the scientific study of the mind and behavior. Psychologist generally are actively involved in the study and understanding of mental process, functions and behavior. The field of psychology is a “Hub Science” with strong connection to the medical science, social science, management science, political science and education.
The purpose of the conference is to explore opportunity of sharing Psychological knowledge and intervention modalities in managing the psycho social effects of Post Covid-19 and insecurity in a dynamic society.
